A Glimpse of Elsewhere is an open edition fine art giclée print reproduced from an original acrylic portrait painting by Lynn Belleus. Created as part of the Chrome portrait series, this contemporary work explores themes of guarded introspection, emotional transition, and the inner worlds we retreat into after life’s defining experiences.
Rendered in layered acrylic, the subject’s chrome-like surface reflects cool turquoise tones, luminous highlights, and fluid distortions that shift across the face like fragmented memory. The faceted crimson crown surrounding the figure introduces a crystalline tension throughout the composition, contrasting softness with emotional armor.
